WHO ARE YOU?

JANUARY 30, 2016 FREE2FLY LEAVE A COMMENT EDIT
Its been asked, who are you targeting at Free2Fly, Inc.?

Have you seen that young girl in the back of the room, who’s eyes are filled with hope and searching for her voice. Or maybe that mother of 3, doing all that she can to make ends meet; prayerful that her children will experience the world differently. As well as the young lady in high school that desperately wants to go to college, but her home situation screams that will only happen in her dreams, because all her friends are satisfied with staying in their hometown, and if they are lucky enough they will find a young man, have a child and live that “lifestyle”. You also have the girl that knows exactly what she wants to do, but needs help tapping into the right resources. There are so many scenarios that can be shared here. If this isn’t your story, you may know a young lady that can relate, be it you are her parent, sister, teacher, neighbor or friend.

If you didn’t know already, Free2Fly, Inc. is having its 1st Annual Empowerment Brunch on Saturday, February 6th, 2016 at Imani’s Fusion Cafe (3535 Randolph Road, Charlotte NC) at 11am-2p.

Not to exclude anyone, we’ve opened the event to women of all ages. Often times, the circumstance the child deals with is shared with the adult in their life, so it could be a family affair for the ladies. The information that will be shared will be translatable for teenager/adult groups. This is an opportunity to learn something new, so you can move to new levels in thinking as well as living. It is so important to encourage yourself in all your endeavors, but it is wise to take advantage of opportunities where you can get the necessary push from an understanding peer or sister friend. Don’t miss out on attending Free2Fly’s empowerment brunch… you don’t want to be the one to hear about it when you can be apart of it!

I will leave you with the profound quote from Marianne Williamson and the question: Who are you?

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
